This is the initial concept of the Phantom promotional piece I made at Superfad, Seattle. Vision Reseach wanted a piece that felt like art to be made with their camera to promote its use beyond the traditional uses in scientific visualizations, sports, and the military.

I wrote this little narrative about becoming human, in a very abstract and metaphoric way. The pencil boards followed this narrative closely, and we shot most of these frames (sans snow) on a beach in Seattle, and a second day was spent on a white stage shooting the water sections. The final piece contained a lot of these ideas, but the shoot produced some happy accidents that changed the piece a bit.
