While at Favorite Color, I developed a useful, clean gothic typeface family with Silke Fleming. I was initially trying to take the idiosyncrasy out of the gothic faces that we were using everyday. That resulted in a rather vintage, horsey face. From there we added back in some elegance while trying to maintain a pretty strict set of rules of size and curvature.
